2010 IACP Travel Award Announcement

Dear IACP members:
As a benefit to our members, the IACP Board of Directors have decided to offer a limited number of IACP Travel Awards to IACP members, particularly aimed at students and junior faculty members to help with part of their international travel expenses. To be eligible for this year’s travel award, the applicant must be an active IACP member or student member, having paid the 2010 membership fee by January 31st, 2010, whose abstract has been accepted for the IACP conference in Shanghai in June 19-21, 2010, and who has registered and committed to make a presentation at the conference by April 23rd, 2010 (for registration information, please visit http://www.chinaplanning.org/Conferences/4thIACPconference.html). Preference will be given to applicants who submit a full paper by May 31th, 2010
To be considered for this award, please submit an application form to Sisi Liang via email (liangsi@design.upenn.edu) by April 23, 2010 and a full paper by Mary 31st, 2010. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for an award. The results of the award will be announced on June 10th, 2010. The awardees must be present at the conference in order to receive the award. Air tickets or other travel-related receipts must be submitted at that time. The amount of the award will be determined based on the number of applications received and the amount of available funds. We anticipate it would be in the range of $200 - 400.
